Rob My Heart and Hope to Die

Agatha de Loon

This memoir, bittersweet like a love song, takes you through a three-day whirlwind romance ‎between two strangers-a chance meeting that completely alters their perspective on love and ‎life. Despite their age, class, and positional inequalities, they fall unavoidably in love at first ‎sight. But the life-transforming decisions they must take to find their common path might imply ‎going harrowingly against the grain. Will they be able to make the right choices? ‎

ABOUT AGATHA DE LOON

Agatha de Loon is a secret, solitary writer who shies ‎away from the public eye or social networks. She ‎studied British and American literature and ‎civilization and obtained a Master of Arts at the ‎Sorbonne. She lived in Paris for many years, traveled ‎and lived in various countries in Europe and Maine, ‎U.S.A. Rather than from any nationality, she defines ‎herself as a citizen of the world. Her novels reflect the ‎way the world we live in still influences our most ‎private decisions, curbs our freedom, and undermines ‎our deepest feelings. In her universe, our lives are not ‎a simple succession of unexpected events leading us ‎on a determined path beyond our control but a suite ‎of decisions, tiny or huge, that shape surreptitiously ‎our future for better or for worse. Her love stories are ‎stolen moments of a voyage inside intimate souvenirs ‎of those for whom love is not a choice but fate. ‎
