Random Jottings from the Hinterlands

A. T. Niba

Random Jottings from the Hinterlands is a sweeping tapestry of wit, satire, and reflection. With a sharp eye and lyrical pen, A. T. Niba dissects the contradictions of African society-from the sacred to the absurd, from political ambition to spiritual confusion. In stories that move between allegory and lived experience, he contemplates the ambitions, follies, and resilience of his people.
Witty, provocative, and unapologetically rooted in African realities, this collection invites readers to laugh, reflect, and question. At once deeply local and strikingly universal, it is a journey through the hinterlands of thought, memory, and imagination.
