Steve Almy

I live in Devon and I am very lucky to have the moors and the sea nearby, which have inspired many of my rhymes. I live with Diane, my partner, and we have a cat called B and a dog, called Charlie, which we rescued and who never stops wagging his tail. I wrote about this in The Tail of the Waggy Dog. A lot of my work for many years has been with Deaf people, communicating in their wonderful language of Sign Language which I hope comes across in my poem, Talking with Dancing Hands.
