Ruth Flynn

Ruth Flynn has always written 'little stories' but this is her first attempt at a full-blown novel. Her predominant interest is her family, those long deceased as well as those living. She lives by the seaside in Ayr, where she enjoys walking her dog and sitting scribbling in the garden. A former nurse she now enjoys her retirement, frequently visiting with her daughter in Wales while she researches her family tree. The plots for her stories come from her romantic imagination and how she views the lives of her ancestors.

  • Lucky Ruby

The Scots called him "Big Jock". Hailed throughout the UK as one of its most popular prime ministers and lately ennobled as Lord John Campbell of Lockerbie, his illustrious career is now heading for a well-earned retirement.
