Richard Vero was born in London in 1951. He grew up in times of great social change. Despite working most of his life as an accountant, he retained his creative instincts and has always painted, and written short stories and poetry.
In recent years he moved to Germany and with encouragement from his children decided to take up writing seriously and has written several books since. He started with fantasy and The East German Clone Files sees his move towards thrillers.
