Rebecca was born in Carlisle, Cumbria, where she lives with her husband and three young children. She is a qualified nursery nurse having enjoyed fifteen years experience working within a local nursery and pre-school setting before pursuing her creative ambition to write her first children's picture book. Rebecca has completed several learning courses to specialise in children's mental health and well-being.
