Now retired, I live with my wife, close to five grandchildren, amidst beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, and can frequently be found gardening. I enjoy many sports and fell walking in the Lake District, where I used to live. As a former student of the Ancient World, in writing Worlds Collide, I wanted to bring to life the events of that world and tell the stories of individuals known to history and create other characters who could have given texture to the fabric of their lives.
