Peter Chainey

Peter Chainey was a senior legal executive advocate for forty-eight years. He was born on a newly constructed social housing estate in Southampton, three years after the end of the World War II, when rationing still existed. A committed mod in the sixties, he had an appetite for life and pulled himself out of his humble beginnings, despite initially not gaining many GCEs from school, to become a well-known and respected lawyer. A dynamic individual, he founded and chaired the Southampton Civil Litigation Group, as well as being a chairman of Winchester Round Table. Peter is also the successful author of Legal Time Limits. Having survived major heart surgery and now suffering from Alzheimer's and vascular dementia, Peter wanted to create a record of his life and achievements. He has been married three times and lives near Winchester, with his third wife, Lizzie. They have been married for twenty-six years.
