Nicholas Barrett

Nicholas Barrett was born in rural Lincolnshire.
He grew up in a house which was shared by a ghost known as "Mr Goodman" who was polite and very tidy. Educated in Grantham, and then at Lincoln College of Art, Nick went on to do a variety of jobs including session musician, rock drummer, stand-up comedian, roadie and manager in a large company.
He now lives in rural Essex. Having always had the urge to write, he did just that. Embarrassingly, most of the incidents which happen in his book did occur! He has drawn on many of his varied life experiences for the book - but has used washable crayon, so it will probably wipe off...
He misses his drum kit - but the laptop takes less time to set up!
