Mick Matthews

Mick Matthews is sixty-two years old and Jake's Progress is his first novel.
He continues his daytime job working with people who live with HIV, people who use drugs and Sex Workers. As a volunteer, he supports, remotely, a group of and for women who use drugs in Kyrgyzstan.
A committed socialist and atheist, he continues to play veterans football and enjoys spending time with his children and ten grandchildren.
He currently lives in France, with his cat.
