Michael Bassous

I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, in a family that was really dedicated to building awareness on learning disabilities that are shadowed at a young age — an area not supported enough in the Middle East. Growing up aware of those challenges, I've observed, learned, and been inspired by the uniqueness of children with all kinds of differences. Having worked in the education technology space, there's still a lot to be done in special education for the younger audiences. This book is the first step towards moving away from the pre-implication of difficulties, and onto the uniqueness of people.
