Kimber A. Harvey
Kimber A. Harvey was born in San Jose, California, and currently resides in the Sierra Foothills.
Her love of books began at an early age. Even as a toddler, she preferred to take books to bed, leaving stuffed animals and toys discarded on the floor.
Her natural talent for writing began at around age seven when she wrote her first book (all four pages of it) about a horse that could outrun the wind.
Although Filling in the Blanks is her first novel, Kimber has shared her writing talent in many other ways; writing columns for a small local newspaper, with a poem titled Under Heaven published in an anthology, winning college writing competitions for short stories Bordering on Obscenity and Pieces of Me. She won the Coveted Dead Bird Award for Best Title with Beating the Clock from the San Joaquin Sisters in Crime, and she self-published My Favorite Recipes cookbook for her family-twice.
