Kath Shorrock

Kath Shorrock was born in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1950. She has been married twice. Her first husband, Ian, died in 1993 and she married her second husband, Keith, in 2004. She has three grown-up children, two stepchildren and ten grandchildren, and now lives in the Ribble Valley. Now retired, her occupation spanned twenty-two years as a receptionist for the NHS. Her love of writing began when she was just eight years old, telling the story of her beloved dolly, Carol, who is now sixty-seven years old!
