Jayne Seagrave
Dr Jayne Seagrave is a bestselling writer of guidebooks on women's travel and camping, a successful international entrepreneur and an extensively published academic. She is the author of Camping BC, The Rockies and Yukon (now in its ninth edition), wrote the first introductory textbook on policing in Canada and has also published books on marketing new inventions and a Canadian Shakespearean Theatre Company. The Games Women Use is her first work of fiction. Her infectious energy, joie de vivre and desire to convey her knowledge, experience and interests to others have resulted in an eclectic career. Born in England, Jayne moved to Vancouver in 1991 to complete her PhD in criminology. After initially working in academia, she radically changed career path and, along with her inventor husband, Andrew, established The Vancouver Tool Corporation (www.vancouvertool.com).
