Jackie Yelland

Jackie Yelland was born in London. She moved to Kent with her parents and two brothers and, after completing her A levels at Tonbridge Girls Grammar School went to Sheffield City College of Education where she trained as a primary school teacher. She is married, has three children and lives in Nottinghamshire. Having taught for twenty-eight years, she is now retired and keeps busy writing, painting, bowling and playing table tennis.
