Coleen Moore-Hayes

Coleen Moore-Hayes is a recently retired university professor who lives with her husband Allen on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. After a career of writing for academic publications and technical journals she made her inaugural foyer into fiction with her 2019 novel A Picture Puzzle. After the release of a second book Lucky Lucy in 2021, Coleen says that what started out as a retirement project has become an absolute passion, with characters who now feel more like family and friends.


An avid golfer who spends winters in Florida, Coleen hopes to keep writing and invites you to join her on her journeys around her beloved Island and wherever else her writing takes her.
