Toby was lost in the mountains but by saving a young Indian dangling down a cliff finds a new life with mountain Indians. Toby was fey, finding this when staring into the eyes of an Indian girl whom he saw as pure of soul and strove to marry. The Indians threw him out but he retired after a year and vowed to marry or die. Their children were also fey with various gifts that they used to protect the tribe from the dangers of mountain life.

Warren Ferguson Hunt

Warren Hunt was raised in the Hutt Valley of New Zealand and attended Heretaunga College. Higher education was a Bachelors and Masters degrees at Massey University, and a Ph. D at Davis Campus of the University of California. He was employed for thirty years as an agricultural scientist in the DSIR later to be known as AgResearch. Warren collected grasses of interest when overseas and eventually produced the turf grass AgriDark which he currently markets with his son in Australia. Warren farmed red deer for sixteen years harvesting antler velvet.
