We are committed to responsible paper sourcing across our printed materials wherever possible.
We work with suppliers who support recognised environmental standards, including paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. Where available, this may include certifications such as FSC® or PEFC™, which help ensure that wood fibres are sourced with consideration for forests, biodiversity and local communities.
Sustainable sourcing is an ongoing commitment. We continue to review our materials, suppliers and print practices to help reduce environmental impact while maintaining the quality of our publications.
Sustainability also shapes the way we work day to day.
We encourage digital workflows wherever possible, helping to reduce unnecessary printing and paper use. Recycling facilities are available within the office, and we aim to dispose of paper, packaging and other materials responsibly.
We also encourage simple but important habits across the workplace, including switching off lights, screens and equipment when not in use, reducing single-use plastics, and making considered choices when purchasing office supplies and materials.
By building these practices into our daily operations, we aim to create a workplace that is efficient, responsible and mindful of its environmental impact.
From manuscript submission to printed book, we look for ways to make the publishing process more efficient and environmentally responsible.
This includes using digital-first workflows, carefully managing print requirements, reducing avoidable waste and working with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible production.
For us, sustainability is not a one-off statement. It is an ongoing responsibility to make thoughtful decisions that support our authors, our readers and the world around us.
