Thomas Ehrlich

Can Benj, a young man from a humble background in Las Flores, a dying New Mexico town, together with his true love, Emily, overcome incredible obstacles to save the town? Can they enable the rebirth of Los Flores by persuading a New York billionaire to use his huge collection of rare jewels and jewelry to help?

In this fast-paced novel, Benj and Emily face monumental challenges in their efforts to rescue Las Flores, with its quarrelsome town council and external forces working to obstruct their innovative ideas to make the town an important tourist destination.

In the process, Benj and Emily, despite their youth, establish their careers together in the sharp-elbowed world of art experts and museums. And along the way, they must deal with Benj’s deceitful father and wastrel brother, and a score of other obstacles that will keep readers wrestling with the moral dilemmas they face and the miracles they need to fashion.
