In the heart of the Rio Grande Valley, Anna Cruz has known loss and hardship at the hands of ‎ruthless drug cartels. Anna's journey begins at the Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New ‎Mexico, where she faces challenges and scrutiny due to her unconventional approach and ‎personal motivation. After graduating and returning home to Hidalgo, Anna's first assignment ‎with the McAllen station sets her on a collision course with the very forces she seeks to combat. ‎Colonel Richard Raez recognizes Anna's potential and recruits her for a special assignment ‎aimed at disrupting cartel operations. Anna's determination to make a difference leads her to ‎confront Salvatore Pena, a powerful cartel figure linked to her family's tragedies. Her father and ‎three brothers have all fallen victim to the violence that plagues their community. Despite her ‎mother's fears and pleas for caution, Anna sees joining the Border Patrol as her chance to ‎confront the criminals responsible for her family's pain. As Anna delves deeper into her role, ‎she confronts moral dilemmas and personal demons, balancing her thirst for justice with the ‎realities of borderland warfare. Her journey unfolds against a backdrop of clandestine drug ‎trafficking, escalating violence, and the complex web of relationships and betrayals that define ‎life in the borderlands. Will Anna's quest for justice lead her to redemption or destruction in this ‎gripping tale of courage and resilience?‎
