Paul Chappel was born in the small town of Muttenz in Switzerland to British parents. Growing up in Buckinghamshire in a large family, he graduated the University of Lincoln with a BA in Drama in 2016. Whilst there he developed a keen interest in improvisation, scriptwriting and teaching. After graduating he went straight into teaching. He spent seven years as a secondary school Drama teacher in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, and North London, before finally leaving the drama studio behind to begin a career as a writer. He now lives in Lincolnshire and is a fan of murder mysteries and thrillers.
