Did you always dream Of becoming an author?
Throughout my childhood, I was always drawing and thought that I was going to
become an artist. It wasn't until I was about ten and started writing that I realised my real passion was creating stories and it's been a pursuit of mine ever since.
What was your first job? I've never had a job. I did pursue a part-time job in a pet shop when I was fourteen but didn't fit their necessary requirements.
How did you come about writing your book? Was that your intention or did you start writing for fun? I was writing a different book when I had inspiration for a character and her story. I wanted to write down her story before I forgot and it was just some fun at first. Then I placed aside my original book and placed all of my attention onto the trilogy I had created, which then led to this current book.
What was your life like before you became an author? Before I considered myself an author, I was in my early teens. At that time I was being home-schooled and just had to get my assignments in on time.
Did you face any struggles before becoming an author? If so how did you overcome them?
Yes, I've had some struggles. My family was going through a rough time when I was thirteen and it had some mental effects on me. We lost our family dog of fourteen years around Christmas in 2015, and after New Year we were forced Out of the house we were renting for seven-eight years. We had to stay with my big sister for about a month before we could move into another house. This was a
major reason why I started writing in the first place. To be able to create and escape into a world of my own enabled me to pull through the tough times.
Now that you are a published author, how has your life changed, if at all? I wouldn't that it had a drastic effect on my life. But it's still early days so I guess we'll see.
Can you please describe a typical day in your life now?
For the most part I entertain myself during the day and do my best to look after my pets. Before I go to bed at night, I will sit down with my computer and do some work on my books. This is the main cause for me going to bed well after midnight
at times.
What is the most memorable moment of your life as an author? The excitement and nerves that I felt when receiving news of the date my book would be released on.
In a few words, how would you review your experience with Pegasus Publishers? It has been very pleasurable and their help has been welcomed.
Why did you choose Pegasus Publishers? Because I believe that they were my best option and they have been very willing to help me.
