The Child At The Window

Beverley Latimer

When Emily Griffin's mother dies seven years after her father, Emily finds herself, at the age of fifty-five, experiencing conflicting emotions that catch her off-guard. She finds herself having to deal with distressing thoughts and feelings that she believed she had laid to rest two decades earlier. Memories from her unhappy childhood force Emily to seek the help of her former therapist, Helen, as she revisits a childhood that was stolen from her by her own mother when she was just nine-years old. Emily courageously goes back to a time that she would rather forget, in her efforts to understand what had gone so terribly wrong all those years ago, and to try to rid herself of her demons, once and for all time.
