And one of our own – Whilst I Was Out by Sara Stewart
We couldn’t resist slipping this one in here. Whilst I Was Out combines drama and comedy as it tells the story of Alice. Stuck in a loveless marriage, she decides the time has come to break free. In doing so she embraces an as yet unexplored aspect of herself. She enters a relationship with another woman, but it’s far from plain sailing. Alice dreams of a happy home for her children, however she begins to realise she's swapped a narcissist for a sociopath. Can Alice trust her own judgment now her drinking has become a real problem?
