#ThrowbackThursday | June Releases

As we release a new batch of books in our June releases, let’s take a moment and look back at June releases from year’s past:

27 June, 2024

Over 20 years, we have published books from a wide variety of genres and from many talented authors around the world. Pegasus Publishers continue to publish new titles every month as we strive to share stories and characters from our authors to our readers.

As we release a new batch of books in our June releases, let’s take a moment and look back at June releases from year’s past:

2023 - Women of the Guild by Darleen Innis

This female-focused tale is one of adversity, clashing ideals and a little bit of thievery – with keen quilter Evelyn North at its centre.

Darleen Innis uses her own love of quilting and crafts to weave a tapestry of flattery, coercion, bribery and blackmail as Evelyn goes against her follow members of the Tea Basket Guild, setting on her own to win a coveted longarm quilting machine.

When faced with sudden adversity and disaster, will Evelyn learn the power of female friendship? Who will finally win that longarm quilting machine?

2022 - Trapped by AJ Stuart

Inspired by the recent pandemic and its affect on our modern world, AJ Stuart looks forward in time, to the imagined city of New Horizons.

Sir Andrew Brown is a futurologist who has designed a post-covid society that can be self-sufficient in times of crisis – with his only child Sam rising to become mayor of this new world. From 2041, everything starts to change.

In this time of political and social turmoil, can New Horizons survive the crises it was built to prevent? More importantly, can Sam?

2021 - Over the Tins by Sid Kennedy

Sid Kennedy’s autobiography tells the story of his childhood upbringing in Derry, Ireland with the backdrop of the Troubles looming large.

There is an idyllic terraced house bubbling with siblings: an expansive wasteland perfect for playing and the mouth-watering smells of Ma’s home baking wafting through the Four Streets. But a strict authoritarian Da, fierce sibling rivalry and the smoky-grey skies of the Troubles begin to reveal themselves.

Fear didn’t just visit him: it was part of him - only his imagination offered some escape.

2020 - Ollie Meadows and The Defiants by V P Girling

Val has always had a vivid imagination and has written stories all her life, with this fantasy adventure being her publishing debut.

Eight-year-old Ollie meets an alien (who can change shape) and helps to reunite him with his family. But it wasn’t as simple as that because The Defiants got involved and caused all sorts of trouble…

This is a wild escapade, with new imaginary companions and a perfect read for young readers.

2019 - Wizards’ Exile by Colin R. Parsons

A sky city, an evil overlord, an exiled wizard and a weird band of misfits. These are just some of the features of Colin R. Parsons’ fantasy tale.

Locked away in Skytraz Prison, a boy, an engineer and a wizard must do something that has never been done before – escape. Thousands of feet above the Earth, where all seems hopeless, the wizard prisoner Rebus might just hold the key to their success.

With magic, sky ships and dragons, there is a rollercoaster ride awaiting any reader who dives into this wonderful world.
