“A beautifully written book exploring life on a canal barge. The ups and downs of a travellers life for six months starting April and finishing in October. You just want to be there, but I would not l like to have the sores that Valerie endured and especially have a wasp sting on your behind! An absolute definite read for anyone who likes to explore and travel. Valerie's recipes sound delicious, the wine sounds scrumptious and I am very jealous. A must have read for everyone. I have read all of Carol Drinkwater's novels but this book beats them by far.”
