Did you always dream of becoming an author?

I think the idea was always there in the back of my mind. I remember when I was little and my mother used to take me to the local library, I would look at all the books and wonder what it would be like to see my name amongst them.

What was your first job?

I had a morning newspaper round, a Saturday job on a sweet stall in an indoor market and then my first job was Office Junior in an engineering company.

How did you come about writing your book? Was that your intention or did you start writing for fun?

This is my second book. Originally, I mentioned to my husband that I might have a go at writing a book. I had been considering it for a while. He told me to go for it and has encouraged and supported me ever since.

What was your life like before you became an author?

I worked an 8 – 5 job for many years and then my husband moved jobs and we relocated. I became a housewife and that’s when I decided it was time to take the plunge and start writing.

Did you face any struggles before becoming an author? If so, how did you overcome them?

Yes, in my personal life – just like anyone else. I went through a divorce and I was a single mother for several years. I overcame my struggles by staying focused on what was important and looking ahead.

Can you please describe a typical day in your life now?

I get the household chores out of the way first and then it’s writing, researching and reading.

What is your most memorable moment of your life as an author?

When I received delivery of my first published book. It felt amazing to hold a finished copy in my hand.

In a few words, how would you review your experience with Pegasus Publishers?

Pegasus Publishers are a professional and supportive team who guided me clearly through each process.

Why did you choose Pegasus Publishers?

I chose Pegasus Publishers because they published my first book and I was happy with the results.
