Happy Thanksgiving

26 November, 2015

We may not be in America, but here at Pegasus there are lots of things we are thankful for, not least of all BOOKS, and the wonderful authors who write them.

Today we’re highlighting three of American authors and the books they have published with us.

Richard Harris has written three books with us: Mafia Target, The Capo’s Mistress and The Accidental Terrorist. All three books are available on Kindle and their fast paced, action packed storylines are sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

Mafia Target is a classic thriller, twisting at every turn, and bursting with raw energy, colour and the wry, cynical, often drunken take on life of a lawman who thinks he’s seen it all. There are no holds barred here, both sides are fighting for survival and neither can afford one second’s hesitation. Blood will flow..!

David Hanks is the author of two crime/thrillers with Vanguard Press.

In Black Waters Carson Griffin finds himself as an elite operative on assignment to investigate a uranium smuggling incident when he accidentally encounters a hint of a monstrous terrorist conspiracy; one that forces him to fight for his own survival as he attempts to thwart a plot that will spread radioactive contamination across Europe.

In Power and Ore A nuclear pulse driven explosion in Turkey has alerted the attention of the International Nuclear Weapons Agency and Carson Griffin has been assigned the challenge of determining its source.

At the University of Bucharest, entrepreneurs have joined forces to create a mode of transport so powerful and unique that, once discovered, the world’s governments and terrorist organizations will all vie for control of its technology.

The Jihad Terrorist Symbol will stop at nothing to get their hands on a discovered plutonium sphere and set to work allocating assassins and spies to locate a potential weapon.

In this story of kidnapping, murder, double crossing and high espionage, who would you believe or trust?

Carol Richardson Marty and Karen Binkhorst are joint authors of the recipe book Every Bite: How To Make The Most of Your Meals. In a cookbook designed to save you time, money, and effort Carol and Karen offer common sense and great recipes. Every Bite takes a main meal and uses up every bit of the ingredients, so you don’t waste a thing. Your Perfect Roasted Chicken entrée becomes a salad, a soup, a pastry pocket, and finishes as a stock – thus using every bite. No more science projects in the vegetable drawer. No more dazed walks through the grocery aisle wondering what’s for lunch, dinner, or snacks in between.

They might even be able to tell you what to do with your leftover Thanksgiving turkey!

EXTRACT: Return to Balkonia

An extract from Maureen McDermott's young adult adventure story... Home Again! Garth’s heart beat wildly! Behind the next bend was his home. He forgot his travelling companions and ran the last five hundred metres into the waiting arms of his grandparents, who had been told of his return. Rosamund and the others eventually caught up and then waited at a distance, until Garth, remembering them, turned and said to his grandparents, ‘These are my dear friend...

Author Life with Benjamin Sonnek

We are honoured to work with as many authors as we do at Pegasus Publishers – each with their own stories to tell. Their worlds are singular, their characters are relatable, and their creativity truly knows no bounds. This is Author Life, a feature on the Pegasus Blog that opens the door to each of our author’s creative process and previous literary experience, offering you – the reader – an opportunity to learn a little about the mind, or minds, behind the novel. B...
