Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, it is nearly the weekend and possibly a holiday for most of you. So, what are some great holiday ideas to do on these cold winter days? We have written up a list of five activities you could do in the coming week.
Go for a wintery stroll along the river/by the sea/in your nearest town. If you celebrate Christmas, then why not go for the last option and have a look at the Christmas lights?

Make a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows and watch a movie. Nothing says winter better than a nice hot drink and comfy pj’s/slippers/socks. If you don’t like hot chocolate then substitute for coffee or tea, or getting into the festive season a nice glass of Coca Cola!

Get creative! Ever thought of knitting yourself a scarf? Or a woolly hat? Or, if you are feeling festive, how about making a wreath? Or homemade candles!

Go ice skating. Find your nearest ice rink, put your skates on and have fun. We recommend wearing lots of layers and gloves, because ice on your hands if you fall over is not so fun!

Volunteer! Go to your nearest shelter and help others in this cold winter season, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, one or two hours out of your day will make the world of difference to someone else.
Happy Holidays!
