What is #SoberOctober, you may ask? It’s a month dedicated to encouraging folks around the world to give up the booze for October. Doing so, can raise vital funds for Macmillan, which enables them to provide support in many ways to millions of people living with cancer.

Geoff Gibson’s new book, A Year Without Beer was written in real-time over a three-year period and is the journey of failure, heartache, hope and hard work into a seemingly impossible goal of achieving three hundred and sixty-five days of sobriety to get a life back.

A Year Without Beer is a collection of funny stories, tips and tricks to cut back or give up, all whilst still maintaining a social life and contact with friends and family that don't mind a drink. Or three.

For every copy of Geoff’s book sold via our website in the month of October, we will be donating a percentage of net profits to Macmillan Cancer Support.
