The Magic of a Child’s First Book
I’m sure you can remember your first favourite book, as it will always hold a special place in your heart. Maybe it’s the comforting rhythm of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, the whimsical adventures in Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, or the timeless mischief of Matilda by Roald Dahl.

Why Children’s Books Are So Important
1. They Build Empathy When children step into a character’s shoes, they begin to understand perspectives beyond their own. What makes people different from one another? Stories plant seeds of curiosity that grow into lifelong learning. Books are one of the first avenues for children to be able to develop and grow their own interests, from dinosaurs, to space. They may inspire their passions, or help them develop life-long goals, or open their eyes to future dream jobs!
