It’s no secret that we love animals here at Pegasus. We publish lots of books about our furry, feathered and scaled friends, have our very own section on our website for animal related books and very recently we produced a book dedicated to the art (Yes you heard us right, it’s art) of Pug Yoga!

The concept of yoga with our pups has been around for a while now, who knew you could exercise as well as entert our doggos! Not only that, have you ever tried to do yoga around dogs, they always try and join in regardless, so they’ve been asking for this for a while!

Pugs alone are amazing creatures! They get a bad reputation in the public for their health issues from breeding complications, but we’re more aware of this now and it’s getting much better for these adorable dogs.

Here’s some things you may not have known about these puppers!

1.    They were first bred in 400 BC China!

2.    They’re very cute.

3.    In the time of Prince William, a little pug alerted him to an incoming assassin. Thanks to the fuzz ball, the king survived and was even made the official dog of the Dutch house of orange in the 16th century.

4.    Pugs actually have to have their little wrinkles cleaned regularly or infection may occur, they also shed more than the average dog.

5.    Pugs are cute.

6.    They can live to be almost 15 years old!

7.    Did we mention they’re cute?

Amazing little creatures aren’t they! Back to the book!
