The Sri Lankan Street Dog

Tamryn Stowell

From the bustling streets of Sri Lanka to a cosy home in England, follow Daisy, an orphaned street puppy, on her incredible journey of resilience and love. Born without a family, Daisy's early days were filled with the challenges of survival-scraps of food, itchy skin and the unpredictable kindness of strangers. Befriended by a wise old porcupine and a gruff beach dog named Bala, Daisy learns the ways of the world and the beauty of friendship. But when a storm leads her to the arms of a compassionate girl named Tamarini, Daisy's life takes a heart-warming turn. Bathed in kindness, healed by care and given a name, Daisy discovers the true meaning of home. Filled with heart-warming moments and cultural charm, this uplifting tale celebrates the unbreakable bond between humans and animals and the transformative power of love.
