A seven-legged huntsman spider named Maurice is on a quest to understand the universe and explore space through the wonder of a child's world. The spider's approach and interaction with the child bring a sense of reality to the story, making it feel more plausible while also delving into the spider's perspective. This spider has not come entirely from the fabrication of my imagination. There truly is a seven-legged spider named Maurice living in my house, having constant interactions with me. It's almost like having a mini fuzzy shadow.
