Benjamin Jackson is a proud dad and husband, a passionate educator, and a headteacher
known as the “singing headteacher”. Benjamin holds NPQH and NPQSL qualifications and
loves inspiring young minds. Benjamin spent fourteen years teaching in EYFS and KS1,
working closely with children and families to ensure school feels welcoming, accessible
and supportive for all. Becoming a parent transformed his perspective, strengthening
his belief in restorative practices, nurturing independence, and supporting the child
in front of you. This journey reinforced his commitment to celebrating individuality
and rejecting a one size fits all approach. Benjamin strives to create classrooms and
a whole school where inclusion is lived daily, needs are understood, and every child
feels a true sense of belonging. His two daughters keep him grounded and imaginative.
Both of them have been on a personal journey that has strengthened his passion for
inclusion and celebrating what makes each individual unique.
Fun fact: Benjamin once wrote a song about the school’s Dojo Shop featuring Steve’s
Lava Chicken from Minecraft, and yes, the students still sing it! Connect with him on
