Mary Blakeslee is a retired psychologist and former
teacher. She taught elementary school and then became a
psychologist for over thirty years. Mary likes to write and
has taken a memoir writing class since retiring. Her love of
flamingos and their whimsy inspired the book. Mary and
her husband Bruce live at the Shore in New Jersey and
spend time traveling, mostly to Ireland, where they have
connected to their heritage. She started a blog to record
her travels, Jackkellysdaughter@wordpress.com.
