When a body is found at a nature area in Hampshire, England, Quinn Myers, a civilian PSI, is selected to join the Basingstoke Major Crimes Team to help identify the victim and apprehend those responsible for murder. A newcomer to the police, she needs to prove herself to the various teams and experts to ensure she stays on the case.
However, Quinn’s involvement is not appreciated by everyone and as the case progresses, she treads a fine line, often becoming too involved.
Alongside the investigation, Quinn has her own agenda. She’s looking for her own answers and is convinced the role will unlock past personal trauma.
Is Quinn looking in the wrong places and asking the wrong questions?
She must find the truth before she’s removed from the investigation, leaving her exposed to danger as she unearths the past.
