Anna and the Little Lost Baby Dragon is a gentle story about a family going on holiday to Scotland, stopping overnight at a farm in the Lake District. While helping the farmer bring in the cows for milking, Anna finds a strange bundle under a hedge which turns out to be a baby dragon, curled up fast asleep. She discovers that the baby is lost and very upset and resolves to help. Hiding the dragon from her parents in the back of the car, she lets her baby brother Alexander into the secret who helps by giving the baby dragon his bottle of milk. Anna sets out to reunite the lost baby dragon with its mother?and themes of farm animals, motherly love, helping others, and parent-child secrets unfold as a solution is found. Some humour is included, as the challenges are overcome and all ends happily.
