About Author

Jennifer Bell and Rachel Kellett

Jennifer (the author) has a self-confessed ‘busy brain’- one of the many reasons she found herself writing this book. She works as a primary school Teaching Assistant in Lancashire, in the same village where she grew-up (in theory at least!). She still lives there today with her tortoise, a keen escapologist.

Rachel (the illustrator) Inspired by the timeless charm of classic children’s books, Rachel’s illustrations evoke the warmth, wonder, and simple joys of childhood through delicate hand-drawn details, a soft colour palette, and storytelling imagery. Her work reflects a love of nature and the quiet beauty in everyday moments
