Rupert Macfarlane drew inspiration for this book from his four children, with the family growing up in Witney, West Oxfordshire. He has built a successful career in the hospitality industry, before embarking on his passion for writing. Rupert has written for various industry publications and has also created a childrens book called "Mrs Half Past Eight".
The Wolf of Corn Street is a hilarious and heartfelt journey through the wild world of sales, where mediocrity meets ambition, and the pursuit of success is anything but glamorous.
The mystery was soon revealed and Mrs Half Past Eight was in fact the local dentist's receptionist. With a warm smile and tidy desk, she was a part of every day. But then, one morning, something strange happened: she didn't appear.
