The Pirate Family of Pirate Town

Stephen Gibling

This is an entertaining, fun story which has a message. It's aimed to show children that it doesn't matter if you have a disability or problem you are just as important as anyone else. It also shows that sometimes people can do things to others that are hurtful but it also shows that irrespective of anyone's problems, they can contribute and do something that can help everyone. It highlights what's good in people irrespective of what they have to endure. The fun characters in the story show the good that's in everyone and that everyone no matter what their disability is can be a hero. Being the third in a series of stories with a message it gives the reader an insight into how any of us can rise to the occasion and help everyone else.

This is my fifth book in the Everywhere Land series, where every fun story carries a meaningful message.

The first, The Plastic People of Plastic Town, highlights the environment and how a simple change in our behaviour can benefit everyone.

The second, The Dinosaur Family of Dino Town, shows that sometimes the bully is the one who actually needs help.

The third, The Pirate Family of Pirate Town, reminds us that anyone—regardless of disability—can be a hero.

The fourth, The Wizard Family of Wizard Town, teaches that those who are selfish or hurt others may themselves need help, and that kindness is always the best path.

This new story explores how people who look different are treated, and shows that they are not monsters at all.

I hope you enjoy reading it and look forward to the next instalments as much as I enjoy writing them.

Deep down, I’m a kid at heart…but then again, aren’t we all!
