She has written or edited fifteen books and over a hundred research articles and chapters on mindful self-care, yoga, embodiment, self-regulation, eating disorders, and trauma. She is a trauma-therapist, provides equine-assisted therapy, and teaches courses in psychopathology, mindful therapy, advanced counseling techniques, and counseling children and adolescents.
