Gordon Harris is new to the world of authorship, and this is his first fiction book. Originally from St Albans, he graduated from the University of Nottingham as a Mining Engineer in 1976. When the British coal mining industry succumbed to history in the 1990s, he furthered his career into water supply in London and the construction of major water infrastructure with the London Underground and then the British Army on Salisbury Plain. Since retirement, he has studied the History of Art at the Universities of Oxford and Warwick and in Venice from 2013–2019. He lives in Sherborne with his wife, Susie, and they have two boys.
