Jacks twenty-first birthday was supposed to be a normal one.
Instead, he wakes to find himself in a metal capsule, on a ship that has hundreds of panic-stricken strangers, who are dressed just like him.
They do not know how they got there. None of them are aware of where theyre heading.
Their captors are savage, swine-like beings who corral them using weapons that can disintegrate an individual within moments.
While Jack is desperately trying to figure out whats going on, he begins to trust two of his fellow prisoners Chase, a quick-witted cadet, and Kat, whose confidence is unshakeable. Together, they start to untangle the horrific reality of the ship theyre trapped on. Its not a prison ship; it's a recruitment vessel.
Kidnapped and thrown deep into space, Jack and his fellow prisoners are left to choose between being good slaves in their new home or fighting till the last for liberation.
However, revolt has its fatal price. And in space, there is no guarantee of survival.
