Bringing home an eight year old and a three year old with their own little personalities having come from a lifetime of trauma, chaos and disruption and trying to merge as a brand new family has been the most terrifying yet best thing that has ever happened to me. Nell Carpenter is an adoptive parent of two sisters, Rosie and Annie. Nell firmly believes nurturing parenting practices, along with firm boundaries and a great deal of self-reflection and ability to adapt can lead to happy, contented children. Nell's early career working as a family therapist in Multi Systemic Therapy ultimately led her to adopting her own children eight years later.
