Marie Barber

I'm am 65 years young and in writing and illustrating this book, I have not only fulfilled a lifelong ambition, but have opened a new chapter in my life. For 18 years I worked as a Health Advisor within the NHS, but due to cutbacks I found myself redundant 6 years ago. With more free time on my hands I enrolled on a art course which reawakened my life long passion. Inspired by my grandsons story to write a book, I found myself marrying the 2 skills together. Hence the emergence of Planet Slime.
