Lunch With God

Cainnech Murray

Bob’s life has shrunk to routine—work from home, two children who live their own lives, and carrying the quiet grief of losing his high school sweetheart to cancer. Every day is the same for him… waking up, working, and eating his lunch alone in a small park on a hill in Seattle.

One afternoon, he meets David, an ordinary-looking old man with an extraordinary claim—he is God! Sitting with Bob in human form. What follows is a journey of lessons, questions, and revelations that turn the mundane into the meaningful.

Lunch with God by Cainnech Murray is a heartfelt tale of loss, hope, and the unexpected ways guidance can appear when we need it most.

Cainnech Murray

Cainnech Murray lives in a small town in Wisconsin with his wife of forty-three years. He has five grown children, and is active with his four grandchildren.  As a psychologist, Cainnech has always been fascinated with religions and the belief, or lack of belief, in God.  What if a person could ask God about the mysteries and contradictions of most religions and get answers?  Would a personal relationship with God help navigate the ups and downs of life?  These questions and the challenges of navigating relationships piqued the interest of Cainnech and led to this story.
