Laura Price was born in London to an Italian mother and English father. Being the eldest of eight siblings she always longed for a family of her own, she married in 2016 and now has a daughter and a son. She studied at Greenwich University and went on to teach in various primary schools, this was where her passion for children's literature grew. Now the author of 'Be Your Own Superhero,' Laura wanted this book to empower children, a reminder that being different is one of the most interesting, beautiful things on earth.
