A Saint Emerging

D. M. Quillman

It was supposed to have been the start of a new phase of life for David and Helena Halstow when they moved from a Home Counties dormitory town to East Anglia. But only after a few months later David dies suddenly, leaving Helena alone in a town she hardly knows. This story, simple enough but with profound issues beneath the surface, chronicles the first year of Helena's widowhood. It tells how, through a combination of Helena's courage and the grace of God, her life is ultimately transformed.
