A Big, Gray Whale-Of-A Tale

Sophia Maria Griner

A Big, Gray Whale-Of-A Tale is a whimsical, lighthearted story of a curious whale and the little fish that live in a deep cove in the sea. Even a big whale can make a mistake and try to fit into small places where it cannot go. But the little fish help him out and provide a simple and brilliant solution for the big whale's curiosity. The illustrations show beautiful underwater colors with whale and fish communications translated in underwater action and happy excitement

About Author

Sophia Maria Griner

I, Sophia Maria Griner, began writing children’s books several years ago and Patricio On A Shelf is actually my third book. I fi rst started by writing for a small newspaper in Kansas. I now live in Texas near my children and grandchildren and I love writing stories about families—whether human or animal—that show problem-solving and encourage children to think about the world around them. I enjoy illustrations that are colorful, expressive, and full of action. I also often try to highlight the importance of the library, which is one of my favorite places to be.
